Special Operations

At AmbuVet we are committed to providing a total solution for your pet care needs. Whether it’s a post operative recheck or an out of town critical care transfer, our AmbuVet vehicles and personnel are available if your animal requires that special attention for a long ride. We have a working relationship with all regional veterinary specialists including the Animal Medical Center, The University of Pennsylvania School Of Veterinary Medicine and Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. With inter hospital transfers, we will arrange for all medical records and samples (i.e. blood reports, treatment sheets, x-rays, biopsies, etc) to accompany the animal for a seamless transfer between veterinary facilities.

Air AmbuVet

In addition to the above services, we are now offering air charters complete with LVT support to regional veterinary facilities. If time is a concern and same day medivac is required, we can arrange for an efficient and comfortable transfer of your beloved pet via aircraft to the veterinary facility of your choice anywhere in the Northeastern United States. Our special operations team will work with your veterinarians to get a complete medical history to ensure the safest and most comfortable possible flight for your animal. At AmbuVet we treat your pet with the care and compassion of a family member.

With the expansion of our services, these veterinary facilities are now available to every companion animal in the North Eastern US.

Please Note: Arrangements must be made before 12:00 PM the day of the transfer. Flights are scheduled after 6 PM and are subject to change if weather conditions are not favorable for flight.
